Chuck Mitchell, VP of Consumer Engagement

Chuck has been an innovator throughout his career, leading critical functions such as strategy, product and corporate development. For the past nine years, he has driven strategy, research and development, and program design for technology based self-care solutions that assist with compliance behavior, healthy habits, and disease management in diverse populations. His background in consumer engagement and behavior modification strategies has been enriched through a history of collaboration with executives, academics, clinicians, and thought leaders to produce unique programs that draw from current research. Prior to focusing on health behavior, Chuck fostered innovation and growth for a handful of companies in sports media, entertainment, games and active lifestyles resulting in acquisitions and an IPO.

Chuck finds inspiration in research, design and products that enhance lives on a broad scale. He thrives on bridging behavioral insights into impactful consumer experiences and products. In his free time, Chuck pursues outdoor adventures and travel with his family – hiking, skiing and exploring from Patagonia to the Alps.

Chuck emphasized studies in Communications, Law and Philosophy while earning his BA from University of California at San Diego. Through his professional career he has received numerous awards for achievement in design and innovation including Outstanding Achievement (Interactive Media), Most Innovative New Product (Software Industry Council), and Best Product awards for Games, Sports Media and most recently Mobile Health Applications (2014).
