Description

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, agile development environment. This position reports to the CTO as part of the infrastructure and network team. The role will include designing, planning, management, maintenance and support of NextHealth’s cloud environment and support information security program.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and operational support of NextHealth Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Provision, configure, monitor and maintain compute, storage and networks resources in the cloud
  • Patch & configuration management and security updates, network ACL’s,
  • Partner with CISO and CTO in implementing compute, storage and networks related security controls
  • Conduct vulnerability scans operationalize NextHealth’s information and data security program and proactively identify threats and counter measures in NextHealth environment
  • Review and help respond to client’s security requirements by providing the required reports, logs, snap-shots etc.
  • Support existing desktop/laptops and provisioning/terminating user accounts etc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years’ experience as Infrastructure and Network engineer, with at least 1+ year of Cloud computing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux system administration (networking, security, databases, Apache/IIS web servers)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as code paradigm, hand-on experience using Ansible, Chef or Puppet
  • Strong expertise in Network Security & Compliance in HealthCare or Card industry with exposure to next generation endpoint protection, data loss prevention, business continuity, disaster recovery and data protection.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud computing platforms
  • Development of Network designs and configurations for small remote offices
  • Maintain and troubleshoot a wireless and LAN networks
  • Strong scripting skills a must – Power Shell, shell, and python.

Desired

  • HIPAA and HITRUST certification process.
  • Project Management skills to provide implementation schedules while adhering to company’s architectural standards and principles
  • Knowledge of directory service configuration (LDAP and Windows Active Directory)

Role is based in Denver, Colorado.
